Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura has been making the Talk Show Rounds recently to promote his New Book ‘Democrips and Rebloodlicans’, an expose on the Thug Tactics and Gang Behavior that have come to dominate American Politics. The Governor has indicated that he will make a bid for the Presidency if he can receive Grassroots Support in all Fifty States and be given a fair chance to enter the Presidential Debates. He expressed his disgust at the Financial Irregularities surrounding Political Elections, noting that as Governor he is one of a very few Politicians in the last Fifty Years that has actually earned more serving in Office than was spent on their Campaign. Mr. Ventura seemed to indicate that his decision to run for office will be highly dependent on the public support that stands behind him.

So is he worth supporting? Should we ignore multimillion dollar campaigns put forth by the usual suspects in order to back this man? Let’s take a look.

The fact that he has been a public figure for several decades offers a much greater insight to his personal history and motivations than enjoyed with most candidates who seem to spring from the woodwork, known primarily in tight nit business circles and having almost secretively private lives. What did you really know about Barack Obama, George W. Bush or Bill Clinton before they became Presidential Candidates? What do you know about Jesse Ventura?

He has served his Country as a member of arguably the most elite and prestigious Military Special Forces of the United States in the Navy S.E.A.L.’s. He has been an Athlete and positive role model as a Professional Wrestler. He has displayed highly effective Administrative Experience as the Governor of Minnesota, and enjoyed substantially higher than average approval rating. He has continued to serve the public as an Investigative Journalist, researching and exposing criminal and fraudulent activities in Industry and Government. Over the course of almost Four Decades as Public Figure and Social Icon he has never once displayed immoral behavior, disgraced himself publicly, been involved in scandalous activiteis, taken advantage of his authority, abused the trust placed in him or ever been identified to have lied even once.

While we here at No Party System have listened extensively to the Governor’s opinions and priorities, one need not even hear the Policies espoused by the man described above to recognize his great Dedication to America, his Moral Integrity and his Capability as a Leader.
